Rhoda M. Carrachino passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 18, surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Geno N. Carrachino, with whom she shared 31 years of marriage.
Born in Clinton, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Arther R. and Sarah Agnes (Reardon) Roche. Rhoda was a lifelong resident of Milford, Massachusetts, and a proud member of the community she called home.
Rhoda was educated in Clinton and Hudson and went on to work at Raytheon, where she dedicated 40 years of service. She enjoyed an active and fulfilling life, finding joy in traveling, spending time at the beach, gardening, bird watching, bingo, line dancing, playing cards with friends and family, and bowling, She was also a member of the Milford and Northborough Senior Centers. Above all, Rhoda cherished time with her family and took great pride in being actively involved in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Geno N. Carrachino, and her son, Richard C. Maxwell.
Rhoda is survived by her loving family, including her sister, Leona O’Neil of Hudson; her daughters, Rhonda Spindel, Michele Kwiat and her husband Rob, and Liza Tangney and her husband John A. Tangney; her granddaughter, Melissa Alberto and her husband Mike; her great-grandchildren, Sarah Spindel and Devon Alberto; her great-great-grandchild, Madelyn R. Cole; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members in the Hudson and Clinton areas.
Her warmth, energy, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A calling hour will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2026 from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford. A Mass of Christian burial will held at 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart Of Jesus Church 5 East Main St. The burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
